Since its conception in 1960, thousands of nurses graduated from the School and many become famous leaders and renowned nurse scholars. Many others are serving the Hong Kong community and overseas, holding senior and key positions in clinical service, management, research and nursing education.
Ever since 1996, the School of General Nursing, QEH has been collaborating with local universities in conducting the Higher Diploma in Nursing Program.
Presently, the School of General Nursing is under the auspice of the Hospital Authority (HA) and Kowloon Central Cluster (KCC). It continues its dedication to prepare professional nurses for various health care settings.
